“The place of a woman is in the kitchen”
The above statement have limited many of our potential women and is time to put an end to it.
Our society especially in Nigeria, they have made it look like our women are incapable and incompetent to manage the affairs of this great nation, aside home keeping and child bearing.
Few women have been able to break free from such mentality and have made impactful difference in our society, e.g. Ngozi Okojie Iweala.
For decades, haven’t you noticed that the nominated presidential candidates for each parties are all men? not a single woman is found among as the party flag bearer, which feel is one misake our nation is making as no woman has been given the chance to contest for the presidential election or rather they feel too inferior to dare to make a difference.
The role of a woman can never be over emphasized.. Firstly, a woman has more capacity and capability to manage the affair of her home better than the man.

She was created with special abilities to think ahead and analyse, she was made to be more organise than the men, Her motherly role gives her a better experience to be a better leader as she does all the thinking, economizing, caring, disciplining, cleaning up the mess her husband and kids made while the major role the man play is to prvide for the family which is something she can conveniently do if the man is deceased, how much more if she iss been made to rule a nation such as ours.
Secondly, there are a lot of advantages and benefits to have a female president and one of such benefits is her ability to manage the economy of the nation, to have a woman who knows and understand the difference of need and want is a blessing to the country as most men can’t differentiate between the two Thirdly, truth be told corruption or no corruption a woman is usually more compassionate in nature, although they can be firm on their decision but their motherly heart will always step in to see the progresson her subjects.
Lastly, I must say that if Nigeria elect a female president..it will be a great turning point for our country, I strongly believe that we will make far more progress than we have now… If we give a female a chance to exhibit her full potentials we wont regret it because i know that a woman role goes beyond being in the kitchen.
