Peter Obi wins all 17 LGAs in Enugu State

Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate for Labor Party has been declared the winner of the Presidential Candidate in Enugu State.

The Labor Party flag bearer polled a total of 428,640 to defeat other contenders.

PDP had 15,749 while APC had 4772 votes making the opposition parties the second and third respectful, while Rabi’u Kwankwanso of NNPP polled a total of 1808 votes.

The collation officer of the presidential election in Enugu State and Vice-Chancellor, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Professor Maduebibisi Iwe, declared the results of the election.

The collation Officer noted that total of 2,112,793 were registered for the election, while accredited voters for the election are 482,990.

Also, Iwe noted that the total valid votes are 456,424, rejected votes were 12,467 and the total votes cast were 468,891 votes respectively.

APC – 4772,

LP – 428640,

PDP – 15,749

NNPP – 1808.
