Labor Party Senatorial Candidate of Enugu East Senatorial district, Oyibo Chukwu has been reportedly killed alongside other Labor Party Supporters.
Though the number of people killed have not been confirmed, witnesses pegged the number of people in the vehicle to be at least five.
And so far, no group has been attached to the killing.
Furthermore, Labor Party Gubernatorial Candidate, Barr. Chijioke Edeoga confirmed the incident saying that their party members are being targeted for assassination by political parties that felt threatened by the rise of the Labour Party in the state and are afraid they may lose the Saturday’s election.
The incident occurred at Amechi Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Government Area of the state.

However, the state police command is yet to make a statement on the incident at the time of this publication.
