Imo State authorities says the assault on the village house of governor Hope Uzodinma could also be politically motivated.
Earlier at the moment April 24, the nation house of Imo state Governor Hope Uzodinma was set ablaze by unknown gunmen in Oru East native authorities space.

In a press release launched this night, the state Commissioner for info and Technique, Declan Emelumba, mentioned an investigation has been launched into the assault.

“Gallant safety operatives this morning repelled an assault on the Omuma nation house of the governor of Imo State, Sen Hope Uzodimma.
At about 9am at the moment, Saturday, April twenty fourth, a bunch of hoodlums numbering about 15 driving in a motorcade of three autos accompanied by a tipper loaded with used tyres, stormed the nation house of the governor in Omuma, Oru East LGA and tried to burn down the home.
