Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state has stated that he us ready to sacrifice his senatorial ambition to ensure the victory of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party.
Governor Ortom disclosed this while addressing members of the Igbo community in the state, on Monday 20th February, 2023.

Recall that Ortom, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is contesting the election in the Benue North-West senatorial district. His endorsement of Peter Obi came after months of political differences with the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
