The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has today being Saturday, 18th June, 2022 arrested a suspected vote-buyer in Ekiti State as the governorship election is on-going.
The operatives of the EFCC apprehended the said suspect with a bag of cash as he was influencing voters choice.

The suspect is said to be an agent of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and he was apprehended at the Ola Oluwa Grammar school on Ilawe Road, Ado Ekiti.
Recall that EFCC and INEC had cautioned voters ahead of the election and issued strict enforcement of rules against cash inducement of voters.
