Media personality, Toke Makinwa, has advised Nigerians not to lose their friends and family over the election happening on Saturday, 25th February, 2023.
She made this known on her Twitter page on Friday, 24th February, 2023.

Toke Makinwa revealed that during last election, she and her dad were on opposing sides. After the election, her father’s candidate won, and they both celebrated with a glass of wine.
She wrote,
Last 4 years, my dad and I were on opposing sides, we aired our views over a glass of wine, we left the same house to go to the polling unit, casted our votes, his candidate won and we had some wine after again with no one gloating. Please, don’t lose friends/family over the election.
