BREAKING: Court adjourns Obi’s petition against Tinubu to Friday
The Presidential Election Petition Court has adjourned Peter Obi’s Petition hearing to Friday, May 19, 2023.
The petition which is meant to hold today, Wednesday, May 17 2023 should have been the pre-hearing of the petition against the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, by the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The court headed by Justice Haruna Tsammani fixed the date, following the failure of parties in the petition to agree on document among other reasons.
The Punch gave the new development shortly after acknowledging the presence of the Labor Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi and his spokesperson- Kenneth Okonkwo on their Twitter page.
