The former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has won the APC presidential primary election.
Tinubu garnered half of the total votes to beat his major opponents Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Nigeria and Rotimi Amaechi, former Rivers state governor.

It has been gathered that about 2,322 delegates from across the country stormed the Eagle square to elect the APC flag bearer ahead of 2023 general elections.

Emeka Nwajiuba scored 1 vote
Amaechi scored 316 votes
Rochas Okorocha scored zero votes
Osinbajo scored 235 votes
Yahaya Bello scored 47 votes
Ahmad Lawan scored 152 votes
Christopher Onu scored 1 vote
Ben Ayade scored 37 votes
Bola Tinubu scored 1271 votes
However, a total number of 13 votes were void.
