Over 100 youths feared dead after a fire breakout at an illegal crude oil refining site at Abaezi forest in Ohaji-Egbema Local Government area.
As gathered by Daily Post, about 150 others sustained serious degrees of burns.
In reaction to the incident, the state Commissioner for Petroleum Resources, Goodluck Opiah reported that the fire consumed the lives of so many youths.

At the moment, he could not conclude on the number of the deceased because family members have taken away the corpses of others.
He also claimed that most of the people who engage in the act are frombRivers, Bayelsa, and other Neighboring States.
Speaking in behalf of Imo State Government, he condoled with the bereaved family and pray God gives their family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Also, the owner of the illegal refining had been declared wanted by Imo State government.
