The Supreme Court, on Friday, 3rd March, 2023, nullified the ban on the use of the old #200, #500, and #1000 bank notes as legal tenders.
The apex court, in an unanimous decision by a seven-member panel of justice, held that the old bank notes should remain valid legal tenders until December 31, 2023.
