An Ebonyi State University (EBSU) student took her own life because a certain lecturer (Dr Enyi) kept failing her in his course despite that she had an extra year
Her mother brought her corpse to the school and is seen calling on the lecturer to come and carry it. In a voice note she shared to her friend before her passing, she expressed frustration from the lecturer and threatened to “leave the course for them” if the frustrations won’t stop. She expressed anguish over her repeated failure of Dr Enyi’s course since her first year, even though she attended all the classes.

Her mother’s pain could be perceived as she laments in front of the lecturer’s office with the girl’s remains.
“Dr Enyi said he is the best, nobody can teach like him, he should come and carry my daughter who has committed sûicide,” the mother cried out.
