Former President of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Okey Wali, who was kidnapped earlier, has regained his freedom after spending two weeks in captivity.

Recall that, Okey Wali, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and once the President of the NBA, was abducted by armed men dressed in military uniform at the Obiri-Kwere area of the East-West Road in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State fortnight Monday.
The NBA chairman, Port Harcourt Branch, Viktor Benibo, while confirming Okey Wali’s release to the waiting public on Monday, 1st May, 2023, said, “He is in his house. He was released in the early hours of today.”
