Forbes list has finally been released. Forbes has finally released its 36th Annual World’s Billionaires’ list for this year, 2022. The list ranks 2,668 billionaires from across the world. It was further noted that three Africans, who are Nigerians precisely, featured in the top 500 of the list.
Aliko Dangote emerged as the first African on the list at number 130. He remains the richest man in Africa. His total earnings of about $14 billion placed him as the Dangote Group Chairman for the 11th successive time.
The second African on the list is Mike Adenuga, Globacom’s boss. He is the number 324 on the list, with a net profit of $7.3 billion.
Abdulsamad Rabiu, BUA group chairman emerged as the third African on the list. He was listed at number 350 with a net profit of $6.9 billion.
Furthermore, in the list, Francoise Bettencourt Meyers, ranked as the richest woman on the planet, with a fortune of $74.8 billion. She has maintained this position for two years. She appeared as the 14th person in the general list.
