At least five people have been killed in Borno State after the Islamic terro group Bokoharam shot down a helicopter earlier on Tuesday.
According to reports by The Nation, a senior security source who confirms the unfortunate incident, said that five passengers of the helicopter were confirmed dead in the incident.
In his words: “The helicopter was said to be hovering around the Banki area around the Bama axis and it was shut down by the insurgents. The five occupants all perished,” the source said.
Meanwhile, in a surface video on Tuesday, the leader of the militant group, Shekau bragged the military will not do anything to him and his men.
He noted that even if they are in any way capture, it will not give an end to their fight.
“Nobody can apprehend me. But if this is the case, it will not finish the war.”
This was coming after the military, declared the Boko Haram sect wanted during an occasion in Borno State.
