The Federal Government of Nigeria has extended the deadline for Nigerians to register and link their National Identification Number (NIN) to their SIM cards.
According to an information posted on the official Twitter handle of the NIMC, everyone is required to follow that mandate on or before February 9, 2021.
The tweet reads: “All Nigerians and legal residents are advised to enroll for their national identification number (NIN) and link them before February 9th, 2021.

The previous deadline given by NIN was January 19, but majority of the subscribers are yet to comply, hence the extended grace period.
