A pregnant woman identified as Shamsiya Ibrahim reportedly slumped and died while queueing to vote on Saturday in the Tsafe Area of Zamfara State.
Vanguard gathered that the pregnant lady slumped in queue and was rushed toTsafe General Hospital where she was confirmed dead upon arrival.
Eyewitnesses reported that Shamsiya had traveled from Kotorkoshi area of Bungudu Local Government to Tsafe town, a distance of about 50kilometers to cast her vote
Meanwhile, authorities are yet to make a formal statement regarding the tragic development.
