Desmond Elliott wins in Surulere with 17,837 votes

Desmond Elliot, the APC Candidate for House of Assembly, Surulere Constituency has been declared winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He won the election with a total of 17,837 votes to defeat his closest rival Adebayo Bode of the Labour Party, LP, with 7,822 votes.

Also, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Thompson Sulaimon Abolaji, polled 1,045 votes.

The result was announced by the INEC Returning Officer, RO, Dr. O.J Fenuga.
