Unknown gunmen have attacked the residence of former Bayelsa militant leader Eris Paul a.k.a. Ogunbos on Christmas Day.
Sahara Reporters gathered that the yet-to-be identified gunmen stormed the mansion of Ogunbos at Peremabiri Community in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, in speed boats, shooting indiscriminately before setting his building ablaze.

A close family alleged that Ogunbos narrowly escaped being injured or killed, because he was at a burial when the incident occurred.
”He is still in the community, doing fine. It is only that some properties were destroyed,” the source said.
A Public relations officer confirmed that properties in the house were destroyed but no live was lost.
