Teenager punches neighbor to death in Abuja

A 14-year-old teenager, identified as Danladi is said to have punched his 18-year old neighbor- Biliary Lawaiin his stomach during a fight.

The two are said to have been first engaged In a heated argument at their compound in Gadabiu in the Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory which resulted in a physical fight

The Punch correspondent gathered that the incident which happened around 6 pm on Friday had become the talk of the town, and the reason behind the exchange of words and subsequent exchange of punches was unknown.

A driver noted that immediately after Lawal fell to the ground, he was rushed to the Kwali General Hospital where he was declared dead.

When contacted, the FCT command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident, adding that Danladi had been arrested.

She said, “The suspect is in custody.”
