Sunday Igboho who was arraigned by a Beninese court has been granted access to medical care after his activist lawyer fought to secure a bail for him. After the marathon session which needs in 11pm (Nigerian time) the court granted him access to medical care.

The activist was transferred to another dentition facility after his lawyer complained that his human rights were being infringed, before his access to medical care .
Sunday Igboho, whose full mane is Sunday Adeniyi Adeyeni is a businessman, philanthropist and a politician from Igboho town in Oyo state.
Him and his wife were arrested on Monday 19th July 2021 by the International criminal police organisation at Cadjehin Airport in Cotonou, Republic of Benin on their way to Germany when he was allegedly arrested for trafficking of arms, stirring up violence that may bring about insecurity in Nigeria.
Sunday Igboho’s wife was released while he remained in custody.
