Nigerian Instagram celebrity Abass Olorunwa popularly known as Hushpuppi is reportedly going to know his fate in court on Valentine’s Day.

Hushpuppi who is facing criminal charges in the United States for conspiracy to launder money obtained from business, has been in detention for nearly two years. But according to new report by the U.S. Department of Justice, he’s expected to be sentenced on February, 14.

“We expect him to be sentenced on February 14,” Thom Mrozek, Spokesperson of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California reportedly said.

Hushpuppi was allegedly said to have collided with a Canadian co-conspirator and North Korean military hackers – Jon Chang Hyok, (37); and Park Jin Hyok, (36); to pull a $14.7 million cyber-heist on the Bank of Valetta, Malta’s oldest financial institution, on February 13, 2019.
