2 Nigerian Women Imprisoned For Human Trafficking In Ireland
Two Nigerian women has been convicted after being found guilty of human trafficking in Ireland.
Ireland has been on the watch list for not tackling human trafficking.
For the first time since the amendment of the law in 2013 there has been a human trafficking trial in the country and it happens to be two Nigerian women.
They forced young Nigerian girls into prostitution after luring them to Ireland with the promise of giving them a better life.
After the terrible journey over Libya and Italy the women testified that they were used as money and sex machines by the women who is identified as Alicia Edosa, 44, Edith Enoghaghase, 31.
Edith’s husband, Desmond Omonuwa Osaighbovo, 30 was acquitted of human trafficking but charged for money laundering.
He was however granted bail because of their three children.
