A staff of Imo State Broadcasting corporation reportedly played a piece of music on the radio calling Hope Uzodinma “Udele na-eri ozu” and other derogatory names. The music went on and on to list a series of defaming names against the Governor.
Hope Uzodinma is the Executive Governor of Imo State who got into the Government house in 2020.
In recent times, Uzodinma has been on the news for allegedly ignoring the killings of the youths in Imo State by the Ebubeagu militia.
A week ago, the opposition party PDP released a statement saying that Ndị Imo cannot wait to see his tenure over.
Daily post reported on 25 July 2022 that Uzodinma had refused to extend sympathy and solidarity to families of the deceased, while People’s Gazette published his “monologue” where the Governor said that he would not be addressing the issues of killing yet due to unnecessary controversy surrounding an expensive wristwatch he wore.
What do you think could be the cause of the music production in the first place?
