The home of the current governor of Imo state, His Excellency, Hope Uzodimma has been set ablaze by unknown hoodlums.
According to reports, Uzodimma’s house which is situated in his hometown in Omuma, Oru East local government area of Imo state, was set on fire by some hoodlums in black outfits on Saturday morning.

Vanguard Nigeria has it that some villagers and neighbors around the area tried their best to put out the fire which already consumed some parts of the building and many official vehicles parked in the compound.
A suspected lifeless body of someone believed to be a member of the household was found lying in front of the Governor’s house.
Meanwhile it is still not clear who these hoodlums were, neither is it clear what their motives are.
