The Brazilian soccer legend, Edson Arantes Do Nascimento “Pelé”, has been reported dead.
The international footballer had struggled with his health at 82 years old. Before his death, Pele had spent almost a month receiving treatment at the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo.
He was admitted in the facility on November 29 as a result of his advanced colon cancer, which prompted him to be under elevated care due to kidney and cardiac dysfunctions.

Pelé is widely considered to be the best football player of his time and of all times. He has won three FIFA World Cups and was named the FIFA co-Player of the Century in 1999.
Until his death, Pele was a global ambassador for soccer and other humanitarian causes.
