Abia PDP sets new date for Governorship primary election
Following the death of the PDP governorship Candidate, Prof. Uche Ikonne, The Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has set February 4, 2023, as the new date for its governorship primary election.
A statement revealed by the party disclosed that the Governorship primary would hold at Umuahia Township Stadium.
The statement was signed by Abia PDP Vice Chairman and acting Publicity Secretary, Abraham Amah.
The party also urged all interested aspirants to collect Expression and Interest forms from the PDP Headquaters at Wadata Plaza, Wuse, Abuja.
The sale of form has been fixed to run from Friday, 27 January till Wednesday, 1 February 2023.
After, the sale of forms, the screening of aspirants will hold at the PDP National Headquarters, Wadata Plaza Abuja, on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 11:00 am prompt.
