Patapaa Amisty, Ghanaian rapper has said that it is a mismatch for anyone to compare ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ by Black Sheriff to his ‘One Corner’.
According to Patapaa, his song ‘One Corner’ did not only make waves round the world but also remains Ghana’s biggest worldwide hit. He further said that while ‘One Corner’ is a global hit, ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ is just a social media track.

Recall that Patapaa’s ‘One Corner’ was released in 2019, and it came with a crazy challenge that went viral. In the same vein, Black Sheriff’s ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ has also followed the same trend. The song is the first Ghana sing to rise to Number One on the Top 100 Apple charts in Nigeria.
In an interview with GNA, Patapaa said, “The challenge that ‘One Corner’ generated all over the world was staggering. For me, I consider Black Sheriff’s ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ as a social media song and it doesn’t even come close to ‘Scopatumana. I do agree that ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ is doing very well, but people shouldn’t compare it to my ‘One Corner’. People have to respect my ‘One Corner’ song because it placed Ghana on the world music map”
Furthermore, Patapaa revealed that he is going to release his next song titled ‘Glass Nkoaa’ in May, and it will still make waves round the world just like ‘One Corner’.
