The Yoruba culture, is one culture in Nigeria that can never die. Ranging from their peculiar dishes, to their way of greeting, to their festivals, to their dressing; it’s one that have stood the test of time.
Furthermore, they don’t only uphold their culture and traditions, they also instill it into the younger generation.
Former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has been caught on video, teaching his grandson how to prostrate properly while getting an elderly person, and this is part of their tradition/culture.
Evidently, he is letting the little boy know that no matter where he goes or qualifications he bags in the nearest future, he isn’t meant to forget that prostrating while greeting is their way of life.
