A recent viral video shared by a Twitter user reveals the deplorable state of a Nigerian prison, shedding light on the appalling conditions within Nigerian prisons.
Though he made the video to serve as a stark reminder of the importance of staying away from a life of crime. The footage exposes overcrowded cells, unsanitary facilities, and the dehumanizing treatment of inmates.
However internet users did not find the video funny as they stated that it was far below standard.
Meanwhile, a twitter users identified as Oluyemi Fasipe also remarked that the video footage is not even the main prison. He said that is where they keep awaiting trail inmates and the most heartbreaking thing about the video is that one may not commit a crime and be subjected to such situation.
This calls for warning for young people especially to stay away from any acts that can make them get into such situation.
