A Nigerian lady from Osun State has rejected a free goiter surgery over three hundred thousand Naira (₦300,000) cash.
The woman whose real name was not revealed but only identified as “mama” has been living with goiter for long before a concerned citizen took it up on herself to appeal to Nigerians for help. The young lady who aided mama disclosed that she has taken mama to Osun State government house and Ministry of Health before they got the Muslim aid from the United Kingdom.

However, things turned around when mama chose the ₦300,000 cash donated by a Minister over the free goiter surgery.
Meanwhile, some netizens found mama’s decision absurd as an Instagram user expressed her opinion that mama may want to leverage her sickness to extort money from innocent Nigerians.
