Snakes are dangerous and venomous and as such are dreaded animals. Snake bites can cause death or sickness when it is not properly treated. This is why most people are very uncomfortable seeing snakes around them.
A snake was spotted spouting out its head from a drainage close to a female hostel at Obafemi Awolowo University. The sight of the snake aroused screaming and caused students to form a crowd, keeping their distance from the snake.
The hostel where the snake was spotted was identified ad Mozambique Hostel.
The female occupants who saw the snake identified it to be a cobra. (See video).
