The accident, attributed to excessive speed on the part of the fully loaded container driver, highlights the dangers of reckless driving on our roads. According to Adebayo Taofiq, the Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department at LASTMA, the driver of the Mack articulated truck, along with his motor boy, fled the scene immediately following the incident.
The tragic event unfolded at the N.N.P.C. inward Estate, Alapere, Lagos, where Lastma officials, including Alabi Olukayode from Zone 2, Ogudu/Alapere, swiftly responded.
