I graduated from the uni 2 years ago. As a guy, you can’t just stay idle without finding few jobs. I’m now the only male child my parents have. My dad died long ago. I’ve been a hustling guy since then. Jack’s of all trade. Doing everything to make ends meet.
Last year, I was planning to save up and start a physical business as an extra source of income. Saved over 2 million already, still waiting to add more before I art my plan. Over 2.5 million needed within just a week to perform the surgery.
Where I wan see am. Pther family members are useless. My savings is not even up to 2.5 yet. How do I achieve that? I can’t allow my mum to die. With the little I had, she’s been she’s been on my payroll since I started making money. Death cannot come this early. There is nobody I know or place to borrow such huge amount.
Tcan actually borrow 400k or thereabout, add to the 2.1m with me and sort my mums surgery but I don’t want don’t want to start my life all over. Before I was able to save that amount, the sweat, sleepless night, stress and all, can’t afford going all broke. I had to do something. Then I thought of b£tt!ng.
I’ve only played b£t once in my lifetime about 5 years ago and I can remember I even lost the money then. I only had about 2-3 days more to get the money, and I decided to take the risk. Can’t forget it was a Chelsea, manu match. Picked manu to win. $tak£d 1.8 million naira and I lost all the money then. God, I fell sick also.
My mum was still there admitted, just using one medicine for the whole time expecting the money to be complete and we do the surgery. I could not even tell her the whole thing so as not to add to her problem. Was just giving her hope that we will find the money and do the thing. Long story short, she died like a day after the deadline. I’m tearing up while typing this sef.
It’s an unforgettable event in my life. I hope she forgives me for not meeting her needs at that crucial point. Though I’m doing fine back financial but still wish I hadn’t taken that risk.
