A girl and her friend have caused a stir with their reactions after consuming a huge amount of drug called hippy crack.

Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas or “hippy crack,” is the second most popular recreational drug among party-goers, after cannabis.
While it’s typically used as an anesthetic and painkiller in dental offices to reduce patients’ anxiety, it’s also sold in small cartridges meant for making whipped cream. These cartridges are widely available both online and on the street.

However, long-term and heavy use of nitrous oxide can be highly harmful. It can lead to a vitamin B12 deficiency and anemia, which in turn can cause serious and irreversible nerve damage. This damage can affect the spinal cord and result in numbness and pain in the fingers, feet, and other areas.
