Humans are considered to be the most intelligent creatures on the earth, there’s no denying that fact. But sometimes I wonder if that is truly so. I’ve seen how stupid animals could be, but in all their foolishness, I still haven’t seen a gay animal. Instead, they naturally resist same sex.
It is unfortunate that some humans who came to the world as a result of their parents’ compliance with the laws of nature, of reproduction, have turned out to be enemies of the same laws that brought them into existence.
Most people usually talk about freedom and rights when it comes to gay relationships, but any freedom that goes against nature often turn out to be destructive. That reminds me of the popular saying – “you can’t cheat nature”.
Though it may sound harsh, but the truth is that the increase in gay relationships and marriages pose a great threat to the society and human existence. Consider five reasons why it is so.
Denial of Human rights of existence
According to the Bible and other religious books, God created man and when he needed a companion, he immediately proceeded to create a woman out of the man to be his ideal companion. It is an indisputable order of nature that men and women must copulate to keep the world in perpetuity. Yes, it is very important to sustain and protect the fundamental rights of every human. But the fact is that no freedom is absolute. We cannot in the name of preserving rights deny future generation of humans their own right of existence. The bitter truth is that people who push for such unnatural union are placing their selfish interests ahead of humanity.
A danger to health
Homosexual activists attempt to portray their lifestyle as normal and healthy. Even Hollywood and the media relentlessly propagate the image of the fit, healthy, and well-adjusted relationship. But the reality is quite opposite. Scientific research indicates that gay men are in the highest risk group for several of the most serious diseases. Increased number of sexually tranmitted diseases (STD) cases is the result of an increase in risky sexual practices by a growing number of gay men and women.
Data presented at the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s 2010 National STD Prevention Conference showed the rate of new HIV diagnoses among men who have sex with men (MSM) was over 44 times that of other men and more than 40 times that of women. The rate of primary and secondary syphilis among MSM was over 46 times that of other men and more than 71 times that of women.
If such relationships are detrimental to health, then it should be considered a threat to life itself.
Moral decadence
Morals are the principles we follow that help us know the difference between right and wrong. When someone is immoral, they make decisions that purposely violate a moral agreement.
Those involved in same sex relationships usually care less about morals. Anything at all that suits their lifestyle is acceptable. Think about the negative influence such ones would have on people around them especially children.
Reduction of Life Span
A study by the International Journal of Epidemiology on the mortality rates of homosexuals revealed that they have a significantly reduced life expectancy.
Another study by Family Research Council says that being gay reduces lifespan by 24 years. According to the study, this alleged shortened life span is due to AIDS, drug use, poor driving and some ugly sexual practices.
Greater Risk for Suicide
A study of twins that examined the relationship between homosexuality and suicide, published in the Archives of General Psychiatry, discovered that homosexuals with same-sex partners were at greater risk for overall mental health problems, and were 6.5 times more likely than their twins to have attempted suicide. Those classified as gay, were significantly more likely to have mental health problems as a result of sexual abuse, depression and feeling of guilt. Such problems lead to greater tendencies for suicide.
Indeed there are so many reasons why same sex relationships should be considered a threat to human existence, these reasons and more should discourage any discernable person from venturing into such unnatural course.
