Oftentimes some people intentionally decide to defy the norm and do things that are extremely unorthodox.

You may have witnessed a whole lot of crazy things that people do during wedding ceremonies, but I bet you ain’t never seen a couple walking into their reception hall on the backs of the bride’s maids or “ashebi” in Nigerian language.

A video currently trending on Instagram captured the moment whereby the groom and his bride were walking into the hall, not on a red carpet, but on the backs of a lineup of their ashebi girls.

Related: Man caught wife pant down with her male colleague in their home (video).

The girls remained on the floor until both the groom and the bride completed their steps each one of them.

The reason behind such act has not yet been fully ascertained, although some people assume it could be related to their tradition.
