2. Be a good listener

3. Develop self-esteem

As a parent, you have become a model. So, your child is likely to behave the way you behave. If you must nurture a child’s mental health, then you should be able to build your confidence level and self-esteem before nurturing your child effectively.

4. Teach stress management

Some parents may not want to hear that their children are going through stress. Of course, nobody would.

However, stress is something they would encounter shortly because they are not going to live with you forever. But when you leave out to teach them how to many stress, some of them may start considering suicide when they experience stress.

Don’t just keep your child from overwork or stress, teach them how to manage it.
