Going to the gym is now becoming a pastime for most people, but they also have to remember that a gym is a public place, just like a swimming pool, and you have to take extra care because if you are misusing the facilities, it’ll still come around to haunt you.
Here are 3 basic etiquettes every gym lover must follow:
1. Always shower/brush and wear clean clothes before going to the gym
Some people don’t even brush before going to bed. They just roll off their bed and head to the gym.
At the very least, shower the night before if you want to go the next day. Also, be generous with your deodorant too. Wash your gym wear after you wear them.
2. Wipe every surface before and after you use them
Sweat, slime, spit and other body fluids are reasons enough for you to have disinfectant wipes handy at the gym, not only to wipe your bodily secretions. Make sure that before you use any gym equipment, make use of disinfectant.
3. Wear underwear
Gym materials are made with thinner and lighter material, and though it absorbs sweat, you still need to add to that padding by wearing an underwear, so you don’t rub your genitals on gym equipments.
