Shoes are great complement to make our dressing fabulous. There are shoes we find ourselves wearing always because we love them so much, those favourite shoes will end up being worn out so fast because of the way we take care of them.
We should learn to take care of our shoes as much we take care of our body. Nobody wants to keep spending money always on buying new shoes.
Ways to make our shoes last longer are:
1. Rotating shoes
Shoes are not supposed to be worn on a stretch of two to three days. Rotating shoes allows enough air into shoes and allows it to dry of moisture and heat before it is worn again.
2.Untie shoes each time you remind be itnto maintain shape of shown.
3. If you wear your shoes out in the rain, allow them to dry properly before wearing them again.
4. Have a proper place to keep your shoes.
5. Get specific shoes for sports.
Some persons do use the same shoes for sporting activities and causal outing. Physical activities have the tendency of making the shoes wear so fast.
6. Avoid driving in your best shoes, long trips can cause shoes to be worn out quickly.
7. Avoid washing in a washing machine.
Shoes are best handled with hands than washing machine. Using washing machine puts stress on the arches and soles and can damage over time.
For suede shoes- use suede brush or suede eraser.
Leather- use polish
8. Use shoe horns to aid in wearing shoes.
9. Do not keep shoes in places with high humidity.
10. Keep away from pets.
