Prostate cancer is a very common cancer that men face. It occurs in the prostrate, the prostate is a small gland in the male reproductive system that produces fluids that enriches semen.
Prostate cancer rarely has symptoms in its early stage, but here are ways you can detect them.
- Presence of blood in urine or semen.
- Difficulty in starting not stopping urination.
- Burning sensation during urination.
- Painful ejaculation.
- Weak urine flow
- Unusual urinary habits.
- Unexplained weight loss.
- Pain in the prostate while sitting.
- Decreased force in the stream of urine.
- Frequent urination.
- Decrease in the amount of fluid ejaculation.
- Swelling in the lower body, back, hip or bone pain.
Prostate cancer can return after treatment, when this happens, such vander is considered to be recurrent and when found in another part of the body, it is considered metastatic.
Symptoms of recurrent cancer can be:
- Fatigue
- Difficulty in breathing
- Lower back pain
Though cancer can occur in different people there are risk factors that contribute to it.
- Age increase- Prostate cancer is commonly found among men that are 50 years and above.
- Family record- if someone from a family has experienced cancer, three is a possibility of people from such family it suffer cancer.
- Obesity- it is easily found in men who have high fat or obsessed.
- Race – common among blacks it African American.
