Obesity can be controlled to ensure healthy living.

Are ways to control obesity.

1. Get enough sleep

Quality sleep helps you to repair and rejuvenate your body. Those who don’t get enough sleep may end up weighing more. Create a bedtime ritual, and a sleep schedule, and use a comfortable pillow and mattress.

2. Engage in physical activities

Frequent engagement in exercise and physical activities is vital for weight loss. People who are not physically active are advised to increase the amount of exercise they do.

3. Reduce sugar intake

Taking sugar-sweetened drinks can only provide extra energy with nutritional benefits. Take a lot of water instead.

4. Control your serving/feeding habits

Excessive eating can cause weight gain, therefore people should avoid eating directly from a food box or packet which may cause them to eat more. Obsessed patients should have a measurement/guide for eating.

Skipping breakfast can cause you to be extremely hungry in the afternoon, thereby, causing you to eat so much in the afternoon. You must have a proper breakfast in the morning after the long break at night.

6. Eat calcium-rich foods

Foods that are rich in calcium have anti-obesity properties which help boost fat breakdown and reduce fat synthesis. You could get calcium from eating milk, cheese, yogurt, orange, and vegetables.

7. Eat Healthy nuts

Nuts such as walnut, peanut, and almond may prevent weight gain and curb the appetite of a person, making you eat less during the day.

The presence of sodium in the salt may promote weight gain and cause obesity. People with high sodium intake are at risk of suffering from obesity.
