Uterine fibroids are muscular tumors that grow in your uterus. They are abnormal growths that develop in a woman’s uterus. they vary in size shape and location in your body. It can be present in your uterus or your uterus wall.

These growths can become quite large an s can cause several abdominal pain and heavy periods.

Fibroids happen to different people in different ways. Some people may have single fibroids while others may have multiple fibroids. When extreme, fibroids can expand the uterus so much that they may reach the rib cage and cause weight gain.
