Getting back in shape after childbirth is what every woman desires after giving birth to a child.

It can be embarrassing to have people askiĀ  you if you are pregnant when you recently put to birth.

The belly fat that comes after childbirth is inevitable though people’s body system differs and it could take different time frame for different people to get back into shape.

Things to do inorder to get back in shape after childbirth:

1. Exercise after having a baby.

You can start with some gentle walk around the compound or in the streets. Try aerobic exercise like dancing, swimming, brisk walk. But it should be with the permission of a doctor.

2. Take the right diet

Pick foods that are low in fat, and high in fibre and take fresh foods when you feel like snacking. Avoid processed foods, excess sugar and Alcohol.

Watch what you drink too. Take foods that are rich in calories to keep your energy level stable and nourish your body.

3. Breastfeed regularly

Aside providing necessary nutrients for child growth and strengthening their immune system, breastfeeding also promote after birth weight loss.

Women who breastfeed children lose weight faster than those who do not.

4. Wear a postpartum girdle

This is what has kept many celebrities in shape after childbirth. It gives support during the after birth recovery. It improves posture and supports abdominal muscles and helps you to fit back and get rid of belly fat.

5. Get a postpartum massage

Postpartum massage help to increase the blood flow to the abdominal area to speed up recovery. Massage also smoothens a saggy skin because massage oil nourishes the skin and improves skin elasticity. It helps women get back to shape after childbirth.

6. Get plenty of rest

Lack of sleep can cause harm on mothers who just went through childbirth. It will upset your metabolism and make it difficult to lose weight after childbirth.

So, getting enough rest is important after childbirth.
