It is quite true that eggs contain essential amino acids needed in the body. 3. Raw Fish

Raw fish is one of the foods a pregnant woman needs to avoid. This include seafoods like sushi that is undercooked. This good if eaten by a pregnant woman might cause bacteria which can possibly hurt the mother and baby.

4. Organ Meat (Liver)

Liver contains high levels of vitamin A in the form of retinol, and this is dangerous and toxic to a developing baby. High consumption of liver by a pregnant woman can lead to birth defects in the form of mutations and can even lead to the development of cancerous cells.

5. Alcohol

Intake of alcohol by pregnant women increased the risk of miscarriage and stillbirth. Research has shown that even a small amount of alcohol during pregnancy can negatively affect the baby’s brain development. So, alcohol should be avoided totally by pregnant women.
