Having an itchy scalp is not comfortable at all. It leaves you scratching your hair all day, and this can be embarrassing too. Normally, your hair could itch you but when the itching lasts more than a week or comes with pain, sores, or swelling, then you need to find remedies to treat it.

Before turning to a specialist, here are ways you could get rid of your itchy scalp front the comfort of your home.

3. Warm Olive oil 

This can help soften and loosen the itchy crust on the scalp. When applied, leave for some time before Washing it out. Be sure to use a medicated shampoo.

 

4. Apple cider vinegar 

This is particularly effective in relieving psoriasis. Apple cider vinegar has a high level of acetic acid which has been used as a disinfectant due to its antibacterial and antifungal properties.

Note that vinegar can cause burning when applied to a scalp with a wound.
