Nigeria has registered 197 fresh cases of coronavirus as of Thursday, September 10.
With the latest update, the total tally of infected people in the country rose to 55,829 and 1,075 deaths.
43,810 people has been discharged so far.
According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Plateau State which has now become the coronavirus epicenter in Nigeria recorded the highest number for the day with 83 new cases.
Lagos state was once considered the Nigeria epicenter recorded 48 new infections cases, Kaduna – 17, FCT – 16, Ogun – 11, Katsina – 7, Imo – 4, Edo – 3. Nasarawa- 3, Rivers – 2, Bayelsa -1, Oyo – 1 and Osun – 1.

The deadly virus which emerged from Wuhan China, has now spread to over 210 countries and territories around the world, with 28,333,862 confirmed cases and 913,988 fatalities.
Currently the United States of America continues to lead the world in the number of confirmed cases with more than 6,588,181 and a death toll of 196,331 According to Johns Hopkins University.
