1. Draw up a plan

Take up a plan to quit smoking. It starts from reducing the number of cigarettes you take a day to take none all day. Make sure that your mind is made up to quit smoking to make your plan effective.

2. Stay away from triggers

When you want to quit smoking, stay away from places it friends that may prompt you to smoke. Also stay away from alcoholic drinks too, taking alcoholic drinks might cause you to want to smoke.

 

3. Connect with friends

Stay connected with friends who will motivate you and help you with your set goals. Spending time with them too can be a way to stop you from thinking about smoking.

 

4. Join a support group

Support groups give you a sense of responsibility and help you to quit faster by getting to meet different people who have quit smoking and this will help to boost your morale.

 

5. Stay busy

When you have nothing to do atto do with o do with t the moment, there is a tendency that you may go back to Smoking. Get busy with things that will require you to think and make you more productive.

 

6. Seek help from experts

At this point, you may have to seek help from therapists or psychologists to help you out. You may fix sessions with them for some time until you are fully fit.

 

7. Switch to snacks and beverages

Take healthy snacks and beverages when you have cravings. This will help to curb smoking.

 

8. Try out new things.

Engage in physical activities like yoga that will take your mind away from smoking.

9. Take enough water

Be hopeful that you Will quit the habit of smoking. Have high hopes as you walk towards it.

 

Smoking may not be so easy to quit. It takes a gradual process, one step at a time then you will become free.
