Sparta Rotterdam rookie goalkeeper Maduka Okoye on Monday has assured that the Super Eagles will be ready for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations holding in Cameroon early next year.
The three-time African champions qualified for the tournament with two games to spare after Lesotho and Sierra Leone played out a goalless draw, before they took to the pitch against Republic of Benin.
If manager Gernot Rohr were to draw up a list of players on the plane to Cameroon now, Okoye will certainly be among the goalkeepers chosen, with the German football tactician naming him as the number 1 last month.

Of the five matches Okoye has started for the Super Eagles, he kept a clean sheet in the last two matches after conceding six goals in the previous three.
