Carney Chibueze Chukwuemeka is an 18 year old wonder boy who recently signed for the English club Chelsea on a 6 years contract.
On Thursday 4th August, Chelsea completed the transfer of Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa after paying £20 million on a six-year contract.
Born born in Austria to Nigerian parents, he represents England at youth international level, most recently captaining the England U-19 side.
Chukwuemeka played academy football for Northampton town, before moving to the Aston Villa academy at the age of 12.
Chukwuemeka was raised in Northampton, England by his Nigerian parents.
His older brother Caleb also plays for Aston Villa.
The midfield Chukwuemeka, is highly-rated, he scored in the final of the Young Lions’ European Under-19 Championship triumph last month.

After signing a six-year deal with the West Londoners, he said:
“It’s been quite hectic but I couldn’t get Chelsea out of my head the last few days so I’m just happy and relieved that it’s all done.
“To hear myself say, ‘I play for Chelsea Football Club’ means the world to me. I’ve been a fan of Chelsea since I was young.
“I’m so excited and just can’t wait to get on the pitch, meet all the players and try to win games and trophies with Chelsea.”
